Please note that, following major changes to the layout of the A30 at Carland Cross in June 2024, some in-car sat navs will now have out-of-date maps. Furthermore, many sat navs will struggle with the last half mile to Caerkief Cottages.
For the best results, use Google Maps or Waze (both of which are available on Android and Apple devices) as they deal with both of these issues. Use Caerkief Cottages as your destination.
We recommend keeping these directions to hand for the last part of your journey.
Exit the A30 at Carland Cross (where you’ll notice a wind farm on your right) signposted Carland Cross and Zelah. Note that this is a brand new junction that will not appear on out-of-date maps.
At the end of the slip-road, turn right (3rd exit) at the roundabout
100m later, at the next roundabout, turn left (1st exit).
Continue on this road for approximately 1.6 miles then turn right at Boxheater junction (signposted Goonhavern and Perranporth) on the B3285.
Continue to Goonhavern then turn left at the T-junction onto the A3075/Perranwell Road.
Continue straight on over the double mini roundabout by the New Inn and follow this road for 0.8 miles.
You will pass a sign on your left for Silverbow caravan park, then a sign on your right for Reen/Rose.
100m after the Reen/Rose sign, take the next turning on your left.
Drive for 100m past a few houses and a converted chapel on the left.
Turn left up the unmade lane following the signs to Caerkief Cottages.
