About

Caerkief Cottages have been owned and run by Simon and Gail since 2012 and they live in the farmhouse ajacent to the cottages and apartments.  They ably are assisted in their efforts by Charlie the cat, Buddy the dog and Julie & Melanie the bantams.

The farm gets its name from the prehistoric Caer Kief fort just a couple of hundred metres up the hill. The farmhouse itself was probably built in the mid-19th century using stone taken from the quarry just across the lane from the house.

There's lots of wildlife including swallows (in summer), badgers, foxes, buzzards, grass snakes, adders, stoats, deer, owls, bats and lots and lots of rabbits.

Our aim is to ensure that our guests have a pleasant and trouble-free stay.  Make sure to get in touch either before you book or during your stay to let us know if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more enjoyable.

We look forward to seeing you in Cornwall!
